Dr. Sonya Mazlyer

                  Dr. Sonya Mazlyer is a dedicated and passionate dentist committed to providing top-qualitydental care.  With a strong educational background from New York University College ofDentistry (2018-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from CUNY Brooklyn College, Dr.Mazlyer has developed a deep understanding of oral health and patient care.
                Throughout her academic journey Dr. Mazlyer actively contributed to the dental community,serving as a volunteer, mentor, and leader in various capacities.  As the President of the NYUWomen in Dentistry Club (WinD),  Dr. Mazlyer demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.  Shecollaborated with other board members to organize informative events featuring esteemed dentalprofessionals as speakers.  In this role,  she supervised all club activities,  overseeing meetings,administrative tasks,  club newsletters,  and the promotion of club events via social mediachannels.
            In addition to her education, Dr. Mazlyer completed a Special Patient Care Elective at NYUDentistry Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities.  Here,  she provided dental care topatients with acquired and developmental disabilities, medical complexities, and other vulnerablepopulations, reflecting her dedication to inclusive and compassionate dentistry.In addition to her educational achievements,  

          Dr. Mazlyer has furthered her expertise through a General Dental Residency at Northwell Health (2022 -2023).  In this bustling hospital environment,  she had treated significant number of patients daily,  gaining invaluable experience in all specialties of dentistry.  Her skills range from restorative treatments and surgical procedures to endodontic care, and she is adept at providing emergency dental care with same-day treatment.
            Outside of her dental profession,  Dr. Mazlyer leads a vibrant life, staying fit with Orange Theoryclasses,  exploring diverse cuisines,  and traveling the world.  She values quality time with lovedones,  balancing her commitment to patient care with a fulfilling life enriched by her diverseinterests and cherished relationships.
